(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
I work with clients to understand the influences in their lives and create goals to navigate any barriers to living authentically.
I have worked with a variety of clients from diverse backgrounds during my two years of counseling experience. My counseling background has primarily focused on LGBTQ+ issues with concerns related to anxiety, depression, coming out/acceptance, relationship issues, and self-esteem. As a queer-identified person, I have a passion for working with this population and identity formation and analysis work. I have worked with clients to address personal, emotional, professional, and relationship issues, among many others. I primarily work with older adolescents and adults around sexuality or gender identity, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship concerns. I work with monogamous, ENM, and poly couples. My primary approach to counseling is an integration of cognitive-behavioral and strength-based approaches. I believe that thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected and should be addressed through the counseling process. This allows the client and counselor to develop an empathic and non-judgemental relationship to improve one's mental wellbeing. I aim to provide a safe, affirming, and empowering space for clients to process and make progress.
