(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I work with clients on a variety of concerns including eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties.
I work with clients on a variety of concerns including eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2018 and began my career working in inpatient and residential eating disorder treatment settings. Transitioning to outpatient therapy allowed me to broaden my scope and deepen the kind of work I'm able to do with clients. I take an eclectic approach to therapy, bringing together humanistic values with somatic awareness and an understanding of the crucial importance of past and present relationships, including the therapeutic relationship. I value empathy, honesty, curiosity, and humor, in and out of the therapy room. Ultimately, you are the expert on your own life and healing. I'm here to help you connect to your authentic self, learn with you, and support you in your process—not to tell you what to do. In my free time, I enjoy connecting with friends and family, getting outside, dabbling in various creative pursuits, and cuddling with my dog.
