Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
I welcome and affirm and welcome all identities to my practice.
I have worked with children, teens, adults, and families who have experienced significant anxiety, depression, and trauma for over 25 years. I aim to help people to understand we all have the power to re-create ourselves and live our best lives. I utilize cognitive-based therapy to help clients overcome and manage anxiety and reach their true potential. I grew up in Richmond Virginia and studied at Virginia Commonwealth University. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Art and Dance. I obtained my master’s degree in counseling and became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in 2016. I pursued my Doctorate Degree in Psychology, specifically focusing on the topic of working with helping professionals to prevent burnout. I have shared my knowledge and experience with the mental health community. I have provided numerous trainings and courses for organizations in the Sarasota community and schools on mental health topics.
