Joy Wood

I provide counseling to help individuals and families navigate life’s challenges by exploring effective ways of coping with their situation and live their best life. My specialty areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma. To advance clinical care, I bring over 20 years of relevant clinical experience including as a Director and Supervisor. I earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Case Western University and completed extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a Supervisory Designation. For those exploring ways to live a better life, I believe it is essential for them to determine and follow their own goals and values and for the counselor to follow their lead with a non-judgmental perspective.
