I believe in the unique experience and perspective of each person and that even in the presence of pain and confusion there is wisdom and the potential for healing and growth. In my experience, the best psychotherapy supports the client's strengths in understanding and addressing difficulties while creating new value and richness in their life. My approach is explicitly client-centered and strives to honor the values and voice of each client. When it suits the client's goals, my role in the clinical process may be to integrate components of evidence-based or meaning-focused models into the work. I have extensive training and experience working with people from diverse backgrounds dealing with a wide range of concerns. Some of these clinical concerns include: anxiety, depression, panic, trauma, grief, adjustment stress, OCD, anger, pain, relationship problems, academic difficulties (procrastination and performance anxiety), ADHD, and ASD. My practice is LGBTQ+ welcoming and affirming.
