Jordan Phillips

I am educated and trained as a licensed professional counselor in the state of Virginia. I have worked with various populations and have a diverse background including people with trauma, crisis, depression, anxiety, grief and loss and relationship problems. My counseling/consulting/spiritual philosophy entails a growth model for transforming one’s life. I like a person centered approach meaning you are in charge, we go at your speed and things should always be comfortable for you during therapy. It would be my privilege to walk alongside you in whatever your are currently carrying or navigating. My clients typically tell me how much better they feel after one session. I typically start with rapport building initially because I want to hear your story. I also want to go at your own pace of what you feel comfortable sharing. Mostly, clients tell me they feel a sense of relief to finally release what they have been holding on their own.
