Jordan Nodelman
(He/Him/His)
Diplomate in Clinical Social Work (DCSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
I am EMDR-Certified. I work with those seeking a reduction in traumatic stress, wanting to overcome bad memories, improve self and regain control of life.
I help those who have fallen into a rut; or, who have lived through or witnessed dreadful events or betrayals begin to live without the burden of the memories, fears, negative self-beliefs and triggers. The common thread is that despite being motivated, determined, and outwardly having it together, my clients find life, relationships, school or work are a struggle? When many of my clients first come in, I am told that when they look in the mirror, they do not recognize the person looking back at them. Unwanted memories and jittery feelings bring worries that something will trigger them at any moment. Not trusting, feeling betrayed, and thinking negative thoughts are common and can create anxiety, feelings of depression and isolation. Before working with me, my clients have had feelings of being disoriented and under constant pressure and now have confidence in school, career, relationships and in their future endeavors. Living a life of more positive beliefs in yourself is not out of your reach. I can help you get there by conquering triggers currently producing unwelcome symptoms.
