Working with adults aged 18 and older, Dr. Jonathan Goode is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in the treatment of a broad range of mood, anxiety, and trauma-related conditions. His clinical practice focuses on supporting individuals navigating depression, anger, PTSD, addiction, and sleep disturbances, as well as those managing difficult life transitions. Dr. Goode primarily utilizes cognitive-behavioral treatments to assist patients in reaching their personal and professional goals, whether that involves enhancing overall well-being or improving success at work and in personal relationships. His therapeutic philosophy is centered on the belief that analyzing the interconnectedness of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors allows individuals to better understand and eventually overcome mental health challenges. In addition to treating a wide variety of general mental health concerns, Dr. Jonathan Goode possesses specialized expertise in trauma recovery. Having completed a postdoctoral fellowship focused on treating military Veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder at a VA hospital, and being a military Veteran himself, he is dedicated to helping both Veterans and non-Veterans move toward recovery. He employs highly effective, evidence-based interventions tailored to individual needs, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), and the Concurrent Treatment of PTSD and Substance Use Disorders Using Prolonged Exposure (COPE). His clinical toolkit also includes Skills Training for Affective and Interpersonal Regulation (STAIR), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for substance use (CBT-SUD), and targeted CBT for depression, anxiety, and insomnia. Furthermore, he incorporates Motivational Interviewing and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to foster positive change and support patients on their road to recovery.
