They often tell you that your time in college or your young adult years are meant to be the best of your life. But when you’re in the middle of it, the pressure to "be happy" while juggling academic stress, identity exploration, and personal transitions can feel incredibly isolating. At Alpine Creek Counseling, we believe that even in the midst of this adversity, there is a profound opportunity to move past just "getting by." We are a group practice dedicated to helping you meet these challenges head-on, transforming old patterns of pain into new experiences of strength and resilience. Located in the heart of Alamosa, we offer in-person therapy for our local community and remote telehealth services to students and adults across the entire state of Colorado. Our Approach True change happens when you feel safe enough to explore your emotions in real-time. Our clinicians utilize a variety of evidence-based tools—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy—to help you stop the tug-of-war with difficult thoughts. By processing the "here-and-now" emotions that arise in our sessions, we work to ensure you never feel alone in your experience. Our Mission: Your Path Forward We believe that your current struggles do not have to define your future. Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive space for individuals of every background to find a path forward from depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues—or whatever is holding you back. Whether you are navigating campus life or the professional world, we are here to help you heal, grow, and truly thrive.
