Focusing on early childhood mental health, Dr. Jolyn Pinamonti is a licensed clinical psychologist in Delaware who specializes in the developmental needs of young children. She provides clinical services for a variety of concerns, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, childhood behavior issues, and PTSD or trauma. Dr. Pinamonti is highly experienced in conducting psychological and developmental testing specifically for the early childhood age range of 0 to 8 years. Additionally, she provides Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), which is an evidence-based treatment designed to support children and their families in managing attention and behavioral challenges. She is currently in the process of earning her certification as a PCIT provider. Dr. Pinamonti’s clinical foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York, followed by a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology in Springfield, Missouri. She earned her Doctorate of Psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. During her pre-doctoral internship at the Family Service and Guidance Center in Topeka, Kansas, she focused on therapy and psychological testing for children and adolescents. She further refined her expertise through a two-year post-doctoral fellowship as an early childhood psychology fellow at Nemours/AI duPont Hospital for Children. During this fellowship, she provided psychological testing, therapy, NICU follow-up evaluations, and consultations with Child Development Watch. Following the completion of her fellowship in 2018, she transitioned into her current clinical practice where she continues to serve children and families in the Wilmington area.
