I am a trauma informed therapist with a background in EMDR, somatic processing, and solution focused therapy.
My background includes teaching therapists how to incorporate mind body methods into their psychotherapy practices, helping to launch Charlottesville's Wellness Recovery Center, building UVA Population Health's Behavioral Health Program, providing resources and ways to process overwhelming feelings for frontline healthcare workers during COVID, and volunteering with Virginia Community Response Network to provide trauma informed care surrounding events that threaten to overwhelm a community.
