Dr. Royer has been licensed in California as a Marriage, Family, and Child Therapist since 1991 and also holds licenses in Oregon and Washington. She earned her MA degree in Psychology from a Liberal Arts University and was awarded a Doctorate Degree in Child Clinical Psychology in 2000, which included post-graduate training in psychological and psychoeducational testing. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience, spending a decade working in residential treatment and inpatient facilities for children and adolescents followed by ten years providing clinical leadership to non-profit mental health teams. For the past seven years, she has expanded her expertise into coaching, earning certification from the International Coaching Federation as a Professional Certified Coach. In her clinical practice, she utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support the needs of her English-speaking clients.
