Jieyang (Jay-Young) Zheng
Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT)
Your story matters to me. "Your responses to life circumstances are reasonable responses given what's happened to you". I am here to listen.
It’s completely natural to feel scared to show others who we really are. When that fear shows up, our bodies might tense or shrink; we might want to hide, limit our choices, or push people away—especially when we’re still carrying the weight of painful memories from the past. I believe healing begins in the presence of safety, empathy, and connection. I’ve witnessed how “being with” someone, rather than “doing to” them, can nurture resilience and help us move from fear and isolation toward growth and thriving. In therapy, I bring warmth, curiosity, and compassion to our work together. I specialize in supporting children and teens through creative, play-based approaches that help them build emotional regulation and stronger relationships. With couples, I use attachment-based Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to deepen connection and intimacy. For adults, I offer Brainspotting to support holistic healing for the body, heart, and mind. I also enjoy working with clients from Christian backgrounds and multicultural experiences. Together, we’ll explore what feels painful, confusing, or stuck—not to stay there, but to help you find resilience, hope, strength, peace, and courage. My goal is to walk alongside you as you move toward healing and flourishing—in yourself and in your relationships.
