Jessie Larkins
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
Serving adolescents and adults needing support in the midst of transition, seasons of grief and loss, or who are struggling to meet the challenges of life
If you're going through a difficult season of life and you’re in the thick of all the change that life brings, it can be hard to find strength, maintain perspective, regulate your emotions, or keep moving forward. Anxiety, panic, depression, and grief are common--and treatable. After 15 years of professional work in schools, congregations, and community agencies I work with individuals who are struggling through significant life changes and grief. I love helping individuals discern a way forward through hard decisions or situations that seem hopeless. My commitment is to meet clients right where they are, with compassion, warmth, and a little bit of humor. My goal is a relationship with you that allows you to recognize your strengths and build from them towards healing and community. After gaining an understanding of the larger realities impacting your life and your reason for seeking counseling, we’ll create a plan that addresses your goals. I am always looking for creative ways to make connections with clients. I am trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ affirming, and actively anti-racist.
