Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
I offer a warm and comfortable environment for college students to work through anxiety, depression, life transitions, and other challenges.
Hi there! I'm Jessica. I specialize in working with young adults and college students in their twenties. This stage of life is a whirlwhind of transitions - all that could potentially lead to anxiety, depression, and self-doubt. Maybe it's that you just don't feel like yourself right now... or you're simply wishing that everything wouldn't make you so sad or anxious. I want you to know that it's possible to feel better. I believe wholeheartedly in the therapy process and how powerful it can be. I think it's important for you to know that I go to therapy too - it really works. I get how nerve racking it can feel to start this process, meet someone new, and share about the things that are making life hard right now. I pride myself in being someone that my clients feel really comfortable with. It's my hope that you'll find my down-to-earth and warm demeanor both comforting and safe. Perhaps this is your first step toward feeling better. I believe there are two key things that make therapy wonderful. The first is a space to process your emotions, talk through difficulties, and try to let go of everything you've been holding onto or burying. I can help you make sense of things and perhaps untangle what may feel like a tangled mess of worries and thoughts. The next is key ingredient is your willingness to learn and try new things. With me you'll learn new ways to accept, challenge, and change your thoughts and your reality. If you've been considering therapy, please contact me
