Complex trauma-informed therapy for adults and teens seeking clarity, healing, and wholeness through IFS, identity work, and compassionate care.
I offer therapy for adults and teens who are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in painful patterns, or simply tired of carrying so much on their own. Many of the people I work with are used to functioning on the outside while feeling stressed, anxious, shut down, or uncertain on the inside. Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what you have been carrying, and begin moving toward a more grounded and hopeful way of living. My approach is warm, thoughtful, and relational. I aim to create a space where people feel safe enough to be honest without feeling judged, rushed, or reduced to a diagnosis. I believe healing often begins when we can better understand the stories, burdens, and survival strategies that helped us make it this far. Rather than asking, “What’s wrong with you?” I tend to wonder, “What happened to you, and what has your system been trying to protect?” My work is especially shaped by trauma-informed care and Internal Family Systems (IFS), and I also integrate ideas from attachment-based, narrative, and nervous-system-informed approaches. In practice, that means we may explore how past experiences, relationships, identity, and protective patterns show up in the present. Together, we work toward more self-understanding, emotional regulation, and a stronger sense of internal steadiness. I have a special interest in supporting people navigating complex trauma, anxiety, depression, identity concerns, racial or cultural stress, spirituality or faith questions, relationship challenges, and fatherhood or men’s issues. I also care deeply about creating therapy that feels culturally aware, respectful, and meaningful for BIPOC clients and others who have often had to carry pain in silence. What makes my practice unique is that I value both depth and humanity. I want therapy to feel real. Not cold. Not performative. Not like you have to say the “right” thing to be helped. My hope is to offer a space where you can understand yourself with more compassion, reconnect with the parts of you that have been burdened, and build a life that feels more aligned, whole, and true.
