I enjoy working with clients to foster a better understanding of themselves, others, and their relationships. If you are here, it might be because you are feeling stuck. I would be honored to be a part of helping you move from the stuckness and the struggle to striving to be present in the fullness of your life. Sometimes we get stuck. There are so many reasons we might become stuck – sometimes we become stuck because of factors in our life outside of ourselves, sometimes we become stuck due to internal thoughts and feelings that get in our way, and even more often it is a combination of these internal and external factors that combine in such a way that hold us back from really living. Therapy work can be instrumental in shifting our relationship with ourselves or our world in such a way that we can move forward again. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy guides much of my work. I also incorporate elements of other Cognitive Behavioral theories, developmental, psychodynamic, and interpersonal process-based theories into the space of the therapy work.
