Jennifer Walker

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a specialization in technology assisted counseling. I earned a Master's Degree in Counseling from the University of Arkansas Little Rock and bachelor's degree in social work from Arkansas State University. I provided counseling in a variety of mental health settings including outpatient counseling centers, psychiatric hospitals, and the United States Navy. I have over 15 years of experience working with adults, children, couples, families, active-duty military, retired military, and veterans. I utilize an integrative approach to counseling combining several techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered, and brief solution focused therapy. My specialties include serving individuals with depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, self-esteem issues, behavioral problems, grief issues, PTSD, trauma, anger management, stress management, and relationship issues. My goal is to help clients "Walk Into Wellness" by regaining the strength, confidence, and stability needed to overcome life stressors.
