Accepting new clients for Spring and Summer 2024 - individual support, group support, therapeutic drumming groups/workshops.

Greetings, and welcome! I am proud of you for taking this time for yourSelf and seeking out support. You have permission to "feel better". I have been practicing for 10 years and over this time have provided treatment in a variety of settings, ranging from public and private higher education student health centers, in-patient hospitals, community mental health, and now my current practice at Taproot Therapy. I approach the therapeutic experience with a humanistic, strength-based approach, utilizing evidence-based strategies and working with clients to collaboratively set goals to meet unique needs and desired therapeutic outcomes. I practice from an eclectic perspective as a Trauma Therapist, offering Sound/Movement Therapy, Somatic Therapy, utilizing dance, yoga, mindfulness, and therapeutic drumming/instruments. I am passionate about working with the Medicine of the Drum and providing clients an opportunity to connect with Earth-based wisdom, welcoming an expanded awareness and connection to the Authentic Self. I provide care for clients 18+ in age, of all backgrounds, identities, and cultures into my practice.
