My therapeutic work is focused on providing space for people to explore their experiences, identities, values, strengths, and goals towards wellness.

I am a psychologist and have been practicing for 13 years in treatment settings ranging from inpatient hospitals, academic medical centers, to my current private practice. I have been described by clients as warm, calm, and affirming. My approach to therapy is psychodynamic and humanistic, meaning that I support people in examining past and present circumstances contributing to stress and challenges, with a focus on identifying values, strengths, and goals. I provide individual therapy for adults. My areas of focus are in supporting students/professionals in the healthcare/mental health fields, those navigating infertility/IVF, and individuals identifying as second-generation in immigrant families. Whether it is anxiety, depression, relationship stress, past or recent trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem issues, or challenges with family/parents/parenting, or some configuration of these factors, I believe that we are not to navigate it alone and I would be honored to help in working through these matters. Jennifer Hahm is a licensed psychologist in Michigan, offering online therapy across PSYPACT states. She provides trauma therapy for adults and young adults, specializing in anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. Jennifer is an LGBTQ-affirming therapist and an ally to people of color. She accepts Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, with options for out-of-pocket payments.
