(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
I welcome and value all clients and their sensitive information. I offer compassion, empathy, and a judgement free zone to process and explore all issues
I have been practicing since 2008, providing individual, couples, and family therapy. I am an AAMFT approved supervisor and have specialized training to provide therapists with supervision during their graduate work, licensure process, and beyond. I have experience working in a variety of settings: inpatient residential, community mental health, and private practice. I have facilitated individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, group therapy, reunification therapy. I have worked with the following treatment concerns: relationship conflict, depression, anxiety, self esteem issues, life transitions, sexual abuse and trauma, criminogenic behaviors, boundary setting, and more. When working with clients, it is of utmost importance to create an environment of safety through understanding and acceptance. I will meet my clients where they are at and tailor treatment to the specific needs that are presented. I practice from a relational perspective, meaning we will explore your individual patterns and identified problems in the context of your relationships and families. I help to process your underlying thoughts and explore areas where you may be able to shift your mindset in order to decrease undesirable symptoms. You will get the most out of your therapy if you are motivated both inside and outside of sessions. I will help increase insight into your own behaviors in order for you to make a more informed decision about how you engage with self, others, and the world

American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy
I have completed a 2 year curriculum, including didactic training, to become an approved supervisor. This qualifies me to mentor therapists under practicum in grad school, post graduate school as they work toward licensure hours, and post licensure to continue to provide specialized support. Blend of case consultation and person of the therapist work.
