Jennifer Fortuny
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
I have over 25 years of experience working with clients of all ages in therapy from a creative and holistic point of view.
Hello, my name is Jennifer Fortuny. I relocated to North Carolina nine years ago after spending 20 years in Alaska. We are absolutely loving it here spending as much time outdoors at the lakes, beaches, and mountains as we can! I have been a mental health therapist for over 25 years and although I am able to work with all age groups, my passion and the bulk of my experience lies with children, adolescents, and young adults. I have three children of my own with two in college and one in high school and can relate with the stress of trying to juggle family, work, daily obligations, and stress. If you or your child are experiencing challenges, it is my goal to work together as a team in addressing strengths and barriers and in finding a peaceful balance. I am also a Duke University Certified Integrative Health Coach and am able to incorporate many aspects of overall health and wellness into therapy from a holistic viewpoint. I believe in a non-judgmental, nurturing, and caring approach to helping people feel better and be the best version of themselves!
