(She/Her/Hers)
Psychologist
I strive to establish an authentic, supportive and collaborative relationship and welcome working with clients from all backgrounds.
I look forward to meeting with you! I am a licensed psychologist with a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. I also have a BA in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University Honors College. I have lived in various parts of Florida throughout my life but South Florida is my hometown. In my free time I love to spend time with my family (including my two fantastic pet cats), reading, traveling, and enjoying a good game or puzzle. At times we all face things that can feel challenging, insurmountable, or overwhelming. I view therapy as a space where my clients can share their experiences and explore patterns where they may be feeling stuck. My goal is to help work through this stuckness and detangle obstacles that may be standing in the way of the goals you desire to achieve. I use an integrative approach to therapy and enjoy working with a wide variety of concerns. Some of my professional interests include: LGBTQ+ concerns, OCD, anxiety disorders, trauma, eating disorders, family of origin issues, individual and group therapy, and training and supervision. I tailor my treatment approach based on each client’s individual needs. However, common treatment approaches I typically incorporate into sessions include: emotion-focused, CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy), mindfulness-based, trauma-focused, ERP (exposure and response prevention) I am also trained in EMDR therapy.
