I am a graduate of Duke University and I have been connected to the Duke community for decades. Additionally my daughter graduated from Duke and our support and belief in this institution continues. As a substance abuse professional, I have been treating students and their families for 35 years. We have also recently published a book, Beyond Shame: Healing the Pain Beneath the Surface of Addiction.
