Jasmin Young-Bradshaw
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
If your past is in your present, let's figure out how you can move forward.
I became a Therapist because I genuinely love hearing about peoples lives. Listening is one of the most important aspects, in addition to creating a non-judgmental safe environment for individuals, couples, families, to let their "hair down" so to speak. I have spent the last 10 years working with anxiety, depression, panic, life transitions (death, divorce, stage of life, etc.), work stress, familial discord (including parent disappointment and disconnect, regardless of age), self-worth and self-love deficiencies, what the heck am I doing with my life questions. At the end of the day, I believe most of us want to experience peace. In practice, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to examine the internal story we are telling ourselves that ultimately shows in our behaviors/actions. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy allows us to emotionally regulate & learn distress tolerance. EMDR can help move traumatic memories & negative beliefs from a stuck state to an integrated and adaptive state.
