(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
Our practice supports adolescents and adults experiencing disordered eating, compulsive exercise, body image, grief, anxiety and life transitions.
I founded Sandstone Counseling to help people who feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, perfectionism, and pressure to meet expectations — often at the expense of their own well-being. We specialize in challenges with disordered eating, relationships, and anxiety. You’re sick of constantly thinking about your body, what you ate today, your workout, whether that new coworker actually likes you, if you’ll ever find the right partner…the list is never-ending. Therapy can help you understand these patterns and decide how you want to respond — rather than feeling controlled by them. We work with folks of all genders to slow down, build more flexibility, and make choices that move them closer to their goals. About our clinician, Lucy Myers, who has immediate in-person & virtual availability: Lucy works with adolescents and young adults navigating concerns related to anxiety, self-worth, perfectionism, disordered eating, and body image. She is especially drawn to supporting clients who feel pressure around performance, identity, and confidence — and who want a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with themselves. Before becoming a therapist, Lucy was a collegiate athlete, a background that deeply informs her work today. Her athletic experience gave her firsthand insight into the emotional and mental demands that often come with achievement-focused environments. Paired with her graduate clinical training, this experience shaped her passion for helping clients build a more compassionate relationship with themselves. Her therapeutic approach is client-led and rooted in collaboration and flexibility. She draws from multiple modalities to best meet each client’s unique needs and strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, empowered, and respected in their healing process. About our clinician, Gina Anton, who has in-person and virtual availability starting in March: Gina works with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, perfectionism, disordered eating, body image concerns, identity development, grief, and major life transitions. Many of the clients she supports struggle with self-doubt, conflict avoidance, and feeling untethered from their sense of self. Anxiety often intensifies during periods of change — starting college, ending relationships, questioning identity, grieving a loss, or stepping into a new chapter of life. She holds space for grief in all its forms. Grief doesn’t only follow death; it can emerge through pet loss, estrangement from family, relationship endings, job loss, or shifts in identity and belonging. Gina is especially passionate about working with LGBTQ+ clients and offer an affirming, non-pathologizing space where identity exploration can unfold at your own pace.
