Jamillah Dye-Perkins

Jamillah Dye-Perkins, PMHNP, supports children, teens, and young adults in Ohio with a thoughtful, personalized approach to psychiatric care. She offers medication management services to individuals experiencing mental health concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. With a compassionate, evidence-based focus, Jamillah partners with clients and their families to promote healing, improve daily functioning, and support long-term well-being. Jamillah has a special passion for working with children and adolescents who are navigating developmental disorders and challenges related to identity and emotional regulation. She serves individuals on the autism spectrum, youth with behavioral issues, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Her clinical focus includes the treatment of gender identity concerns, school avoidance, and co-occurring conditions such as sleep and eating disorders. Jamillah is especially attuned to the unique experiences of those from foster care and adoptive backgrounds and creates a safe and affirming environment for all clients. In her practice, Jamillah incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness strategies as part of a holistic treatment plan. She values education, trust-building, and empowering clients to take an active role in their mental health journey. With experience treating a broad range of conditions—including psychosis, PTSD, and somatic symptoms—she offers individualized care that addresses both psychological and physiological aspects of wellness. Outside of her clinical work, Jamillah enjoys spending time with her family, baking, working out, reading, and relaxing at live jazz performances. She believes that nurturing balance in life is key to both personal and professional growth.
