I am passionate about helping people navigate anxiety, identity, and life transitions with curiosity, depth, and compassion.

Therapy with me is collaborative, down-to-earth, and guided by genuine curiosity about who you are and what matters most to you. I work with adults who are ready to make sense of their emotions, patterns, and relationships, and to grow beyond the ways they’ve had to cope just to get by. Together, we slow things down, listen closely to your inner world, and create room for new ways of relating, to yourself and to others, to take shape. My approach is experiential and relational, meaning we don’t just talk about change, we explore how it actually feels, in real time. Therapy becomes a space to notice and name what’s happening inside, to find safety in your own experience, and to develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself. From there, meaningful change tends to emerge naturally. I draw from a blend of emotionally focused, depth-oriented, and mindfulness-based approaches, shaped by what each person needs most. Some sessions might focus on untangling anxiety, self-criticism, or overwhelm. Others might involve repairing old attachment wounds, tending to grief, or learning how to rest and feel at home in your body. However we begin, we’ll move at a pace that feels steady and respectful. I often work with LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent adults, creatives, caregivers, and anyone who’s ever felt “different” or unseen. Many of my clients come to therapy during seasons of transition, grappling with questions of identity, belonging, and meaning, or after years of feeling like they’ve been holding it all together for everyone else. In our work, you don’t have to perform or prove anything. You can simply show up as you are. Therapy isn’t about fixing you. It’s about rediscovering your capacity to feel, connect, and live with more clarity and freedom. People who work with me often describe feeling more emotionally grounded, more self-aware, and better able to respond to life rather than react to it. I offer sessions in person in Charlottesville and Harrisonburg, and online throughout Virginia, California, and Florida. My availability includes daytime and limited evening appointments. If you’re wondering whether therapy might help, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I offer a free 15-minute consultation where we can talk about what’s bringing you in and what you’re hoping for. You deserve a space where you can be fully met and supported in your growth.
