College can present many many challenges, and being on your own does not mean you have to be alone.

I have over 20 years experience and have been working with young people for the entirety of my career. My focus is on helping you better understand your feelings, and why you do the things you do. Sometimes there may be behaviors you want to address, and we can do that while also uncovering the root cause. Entering therapy may be initiated by a crisis or turning point, but I invite you to evaluate the quality of the connection you make with a therapist. I believe that the client/therapist relationship is a key factor in reaching your goals. It will be important that you feel safe, comfortable, accepted, respected, and that you are confiding in someone whom you trust. My approach is straightforward. I can assist in helping you to feel empowered, gain insight, become more reflective, and move toward your goals.
