Compassionate care for trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, psychosis, addiction, and co-occurring conditions, helping you build a life worth living.

My journey into mental health care began with a life-changing experience. While working as a music teacher at a summer camp, I encountered a young camper in crisis, threatening suicide. Talking him safely down from a rooftop shifted my perspective entirely—I realized that helping people navigate life’s toughest moments was my true calling. I changed my path, pursued a degree in psychology, and later earned my MSW from Syracuse University. With over 30 years of experience, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting people facing trauma, chronic mental health conditions, and co-occurring substance use disorders. I’ve worked in inpatient psychiatric care, chemical dependency counseling, and state mental health programs. These experiences shaped my understanding of how trauma impacts individuals and communities and how the right support can empower people to build meaningful lives. Using motivational interviewing to foster collaboration and trust, I also integrate CBT, DBT, and ACT techniques to help clients develop insights, skills, and self-compassion. Whether you're facing anxiety, mood disorders, psychosis, or addiction, I’m here to support you in making changes that align with you
