James Bukuts

James Bukuts is a dedicated psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience serving the Cleveland area. He completed his adult psychiatry residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland and further specialized his expertise by completing a fellowship in public and community psychiatry through Case Western University in 2017. Dr. Bukuts is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and maintains active memberships in both the American Psychiatric Association and the Ohio Psychiatric Physicians Association. His clinical practice is focused on providing holistic support to adults, specifically those within the 18 to 64 age range. Dr. Bukuts has a primary interest in treating complex mental health conditions, including adult major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). He also provides specialized support for individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. In his therapeutic work, he integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Therapy, and Mindfulness to help patients achieve better health outcomes. Outside of his clinical responsibilities, he spends his time traveling, gardening, biking, and being with his local family.
