Jade Miles
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
Come as you are and the rest we can work together on. This is your space to laugh, cry, and do hard and rewarding work to reach your goals.
Jade (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). She believes too often people come into any type of helping service looking for something "wrong" with them. Jade approaches her work with clients as a collaborative process and an exploration of how the brain has adapted to hard events and circumstances. She works with clients to destigmatize mental health and assist individuals to feel more in control of their life, instead of feeling like their mental health has all of the power. Jade is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and uses a wide range of modalities to ensure services are tailored to the client’s unique needs. Jade’s passion is working with folx from marginalized backgrounds and working to develop an understanding of mental health that is not Eurocentric in nature. Her hope is to empower clients through knowledge and exploration of self, so they may speak up for themselves when necessary, and challenge oppressive systems. Jade hopes to develop a safe space with her clients to allow for challenges, transparency, growth, and healing as they go through their therapeutic journey.
