Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
Helping individuals navigate anxiety, life transitions, relationships, and self-discovery with warmth, insight, and practical support.
Welcome! I'm Jacquelyn, a licensed mental health therapist who works with individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, and questions of identity and self-understanding. My approach is warm, collaborative, and exploratory. I view therapy as a process of being curious together about your emotions, relationships, patterns, and experiences and making sense of how they may be influencing your life today. My work is primarily informed by a psychodynamic perspective, which means we explore how past experiences and relationships may be shaping present thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I also incorporate cognitive-behavioral strategies, mind-body awareness, and nervous system education to help clients better understand and respond to stress. I have a particular interest in working with highly sensitive individuals, those navigating anxiety, rumination, intrusive thoughts, family-of-origin concerns, and the lasting impact of difficult childhood experiences. I also enjoy helping clients understand the connection between emotional stress and physical symptoms. Above all, I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can show up as you are, deepen your self-understanding, and build a more compassionate relationship with yourself.
