(They/Them/Theirs)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I am committed to serving gender expansive and LGBTQI+ people and those who love them.
Isaiah is a white, non-binary, Jewish Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from Boston University. They are most drawn to trauma-informed and client-centered forms of therapy, such as narrative therapy, and they are also trained in EMDR therapy. Their graduate school internships were primarily in working with children, adolescents, and families who have experienced trauma, and they have spent the two years following their graduation working as an outpatient therapist with LGBTQ clients at the Out at Home program at the Home for Little Wanderers. In this role, they supported many clients in accessing necessary gender-affirming medical care, as well as conducting individual, family, and couples therapy for clients with a broad range of experiences and presentations. Isaiah is dedicated to affirming the identities and experiences of all of their clients (including those who identify as polyamorous and neurodivergent), and to using therapy as a tool for collective liberation more broadly. Outside of work, they are also a community organizer, and they welcome clients to discuss in therapy the ways that social and political systems of oppression are impacting their lives and to view their challenges through a social justice lens.
