Irene Garrick

I walk with my clients on their path towards optimal mental health and wellness, and help them work through transitions as they make important life-changing decisions. I have 15+ years of experience working with clients across the lifespan. I have a Master's in School Psychology and a PhD in Counseling and Counselor Education and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in NY. I have a warm and supportive approach and work with clients' strengths to empower them and reach their goals. I work with young adults navigating careers and relationships and adults with parenting and health concerns, relationship concerns, and career changes. I enjoy working with couples who want to strengthen their relationships and improve communication. I have experience with diverse clients and clients in the LGBTQ+ population. I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, and self-esteem issues. I have a depth and breadth of experience and welcome clients of all backgrounds.
