Irang Kim
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Active participation of both clinician and client during the therapeutic process can bring out the desirable positive result in solution focused therapy.
Everyone needs some moments to be heard without judgement. I believe therapy can offer that unconditional space for people. All we need to do is to invest time and effort to come to the space to explore the stories inside of us. Some people come to realize that they don't want to talk, and others discover ways to connect with themselves. My specialty includes working with individuals with anxiety and depression. I have primarily worked with young adults-especially college students populations-from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds. Struggles with life transitions and family struggles of international students, Asian American, Latinx, African American, and multiracial students. I am a continuing learner of the diversity that life puts us on. I am living in the middle of three different cultures: U.S., Korea, and India. I am here to get to know you and unfold your stories together. Perhaps, I might not be a good fit for everyone, but I want to be the person who helps you to find the one. Thank you.
