Accepting clients
Updated 30+ days ago

I celebrate diversity and welcome clients of all walks of life into my practice. You can expect cultural humility and respect in your care.

I’m a board-certified adult psychiatrist with highly specialized training in depth psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. Combining the different perspectives offered by psychiatry and psychoanalysis allows me to provide thoughtful and uniquely tailored care that takes into account the wholeness and complexity of the person seeking my help. My patients learn to use the present moment of the treatment relationship to bring new attention to familiar patterns and emotional challenges, so that fresh solutions to life’s many problems might be safely explored. I’m very attuned to the disruptive impact of trauma on the developing personality and nervous system - especially with regard to the capacity to exist safely within relationship. I strive to create conditions in treatment that help my patients to find and harness their own innate drives to grow, develop, and speak confidently using their own voices.
