Psychologist
I am passionate about cultivating a genuine therapeutic relationship with individuals, where they can feel seen, safe, and empowered.
I am a licensed bilingual clinical psychologist in Arizona who specializes in working with trauma, anxiety and depression. I currently work with youth and adults ages 9-50. Within my work with patients, I use trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches that blend evidence-based practices with deep respect for the patient’s lived experience. I understand that each person’s experience is shaped not just by individual events but also by culture, family, identity, and community. I aim to create a space where all parts of the person’s story are honored. I view therapy as a shared journey where the patient’s voice matters, and pace is respected. I utilize a process-oriented and relational approach to therapy, with core foundations in psychodynamic theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and a systems-theoretical framework. I am also trained in evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR), narrative exposure therapy, sandtray, and play therapy.
