I was also serving at our church as a leader in the Divorce Care Ministry for over 10 years and then started the group, Single and Parenting. My approach is to listen to each client using the 'mirroring' technique to help them facilitate feeling heard and safe in a space they can freely express their emotions and thoughts without judgment.
