Hilary Settlemire
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Hilary is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado
Hi, my name is Hilary Settlemire. I have my master's in social work. I currently have my LCSW. My approach to therapy is to make sure that it is client-centered and working on you to become your best self. I am a very energetic person and like to laugh in session. I want us to have a therapeutic relationship where you feel comfortable with me and coming to me with whatever you are going through without judgment. When I was in high school, I said I wanted to be a social worker. I then thought I wanted to be a nurse, went to nursing school, and was not happy. I found myself talking to the patients a lot and wanting to know their story. I then remembered why I wanted to be a social worker. I like to help people and be their support system through difficult times and amazing times. I love what I do, and it never feels like work or a job; it feels like my passion. Goals are very important so that we know what and where we are going and how much progress we have made. Our first session will be us getting to know each other and building the foundation of our relationship and me asking a lot of questions to get to know you and what you want to get out of therapy.
