Heather Masters (she/her/hers) is a licensed independent social worker with supervision endorsement. She earned her master’s degree in clinical social work from the University of Kentucky. Masters has provided individual, family, and group therapy services to a diverse population of clients from small rural communities to large cities. She has a great deal of experience working with individuals with substance use disorders as well as severe mental health issues in both residential and outpatient settings. Her areas of specialty include anxiety, mood, substance abuse, relationship issues, parenting support, trauma, grief/loss, and women’s issues. Heather uses a wide variety of therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. She enjoys providing individual and couples counseling services. She approaches therapy with a warm demeanor and a goal-oriented approach.
