Heather Eichman, LSCSW, is a dedicated clinician who helps teens, adults, and seniors across Kansas navigate complex mental health challenges with a blend of compassion and structured care. She provides a supportive environment for individuals and couples seeking stability and meaningful change, whether they are managing chronic concerns or responding to sudden life disruptions. Her approach is collaborative and designed to meet each patient where they are, helping them move forward with renewed confidence. A primary focus of Heather’s practice is supporting individuals recently discharged from psychiatric hospitals. She is committed to ensuring a safe and successful transition back into daily life by offering continuity of care during this vulnerable period. This specialized work often involves strengthening coping mechanisms, reducing the risk of relapse, and helping families regain a sense of hope and control following acute treatment. In addition to transition support, Heather specializes in the treatment of PTSD, trauma, anxiety, and substance use issues. She works with adolescents and adults who may be struggling with intrusive thoughts or emotional dysregulation resulting from traumatic experiences. Her clinical practice integrates evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Brainspotting, while tailoring additional therapeutic options to the unique needs of each individual. She offers both individual and couples therapy, serving diverse populations such as LGBTQ+ individuals, military members, veterans, and first responders. With more than 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field, Heather brings a steady and reassuring presence to the therapeutic process. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys traveling, baking, and spending quality time with her family and her four pets.
