(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I identify as a queer woman and I strive to create an environment where anyone can feel safe and work towards creating the life they want to live.
Creating a working alliance that is built on trust and authenticity is an important piece of my practice. I take a person-centered approach, which means that I trust you to know yourself best and will use your knowledge to guide our work together. I hope to empower and support you in taking steps towards living the life you want to live. As a certified developmental and relational trauma therapist, a focus of mine is to help you identify trauma in your upbringing that may be impacting your life today. We will explore how your childhood shaped your sense of self, relationships, and attachment and your ability to care for, protect, and meet your needs and wants. I utilize a combination of experiential work, engagement with inner parts, and a skills-based approach. I also often incorporate my training in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to address trauma throughout the lifespan. I may also draw upon Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Self-Compassion, and Mindfulness
