Psychologist
My focus is on the assessment of childhood behavioral and neurodevelopmental disorders, primarily ADHD, autism, intellectual, and learning disabilities.
I wanted to become a psychologist since I was younger. Today, I am a licensed psychologist in Florida, having graduated in 2010 with a doctorate in clinical psychology and a concentration in child psychology from Carlos Albizu University. I have always been passionate about assessment, and I pursued several practicums at the Veteran Affairs and the University of Miami Mailman Center for Child Development (MMCD). I also completed an internship at the Institute for Child and Family Health and a fellowship at MMCD with assessment and neurology-related experience. I started my solo practice in 2012, providing therapy and psychological evaluations primarily to young children with neurodevelopmental disorders. Currently, my focus is on the assessment of childhood behavioral and neurological disorders, primarily ADHD and autism. I evaluate development, learning, emotions, and behaviors. I love to help children receive the care and services they deserve. I also enjoy teaching. I supervise graduate students at Carlos Albizu University (CAU) in the doctoral program and collaborate with CAU as an external practicum site for supervision. When I’m not helping my patients, I enjoy spending time with my three daughters and husband, exercising, or boating in the Florida Keys.
