Grant Pooley
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Life is hard, we all need support. We all need to feel heard and understood. Let me help you take the first steps towards life changing growth and healing
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and received my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary. I am a born and raised Arizonan and received my bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University in 2015. After receiving my bachelor’s degree, I was a police officer with Scottsdale PD from August 2015 to July 2021, where I focused my additional training on mental health and crisis intervention. During my 6 years as a police officer, I discovered a passion for supporting and joining with those working through trauma and relational issues. I predominantly work with trauma, anxiety, couples, life transitions, and first responders. I utilize a variety of modalities, including EMDR therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Solution Focused Therapy to assist clients in achieving their goals. My experience has contributed to my peaceful, compassionate, and direct approach. I enjoy connecting with clients as they process and grow through life’s many challenges. I believe in helping individuals and couples build meaningful and fulfilling relationships by practicing empathy, self-awareness, and finding solutions that work for them.
