His clinical expertise encompasses a broad range of conditions, including ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and depression, as well as complex challenges such as psychosis, PTSD, eating disorders, and substance use issues. Dr. Meredith’s professional background is rooted in a strong scientific and clinical foundation. He earned his B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Arkansas before receiving his Medical Degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. He then completed his psychiatry residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis, Oregon. Before transitioning to an office setting, Dr. Meredith gained significant experience as a Staff Inpatient Psychiatrist for both Ventura and Humboldt Counties. He remains committed to staying at the forefront of ongoing research, ensuring that each treatment plan is precisely tailored to the unique needs of the patient. In addition to treating primary mood and anxiety disorders, Dr. Meredith provides care for couples, obsessive-compulsive disorder, sleep disorders, and somatoform disorders. He also supports patients navigating grief, midlife transitions, and postpartum challenges. An avid surfer, biker, and wilderness explorer, his approach is influenced by a lifetime spent in the great outdoors.
