Grace Mark
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I work with individuals who are feeling “stuck” & uncertain of what’s next or seeking to deepen relationships with themselves and others.
I help clients work through relationship concerns, life transitions, anxiety, depression, stress management, identity exploration, family of origin issues, grief and loss, and with LGBTQIA+ clients wanting to process the varied challenges and pleasures of life. I am not here to give you answers, but rather to journey with you in an endeavor toward a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences, challenges, goals, and strengths. I will bring warmth, empathy, nonjudgment, curiosity, and sometimes humor to our shared space, and will treat you as the expert of your own experience. I take an eclectic relational and person-centered approach because needs are unique from one person to the next, so we will explore together what works for you. My work primarily draws from psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and may include elements of narrative and relational-cultural therapies, somatic and nervous system-focused exercises, and your own emotional, physical, intellectual, or spiritual practices. I am deeply committed to approaching this work with an anti-oppressive lens.
