I hope to create a collaborative, compassionate, and affirming space to pause, reflect & grow with intention.

Maybe life has been feeling out of your control, or the ways you've coped with stress and anxiety in the past do not work for present you. Perhaps you're feeling ready to explore your identity or process past traumas or hardships. Therapy can offer a supportive space to pause, reflect, and grow with intention. My approach to therapy is strength-based and client-centered. I believe each person can heal and achieve their goals. My work is grounded in social justice values, exploring how our experiences within different systems can impact our mental health and well-being. I hope to create a collaborative, compassionate, and affirming space where you feel safe to show up as your most authentic self. I draw from a different modalities based on each client’s unique needs, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I enjoy working with individuals who are new to therapy, folks navigating perfectionism or people-pleasing patterns, and folks looking to explore setting boundaries that honor yourself and your culture. I also have experience supporting clients through: - Anxiety, depression, and stress management - Racial and ethnic identity development - Gender and sexual identity exploration - Young adult life transitions - Teen issues, especially those related to intersectional identities - Trauma recovery, including family of origin concerns About Me I am a second generation Korean American and the oldest daughter of immigrants, which greatly shaped my own journey in mental health and community work. I have experience working in schools, nonprofits, community organizing and in the child welfare system. I’ve lived in Illinois and Massachusetts before moving to Washington to pursue my Masters in Social Work. You can find me spending time with my spunky rescue pup, Nova, running, crocheting and exploring coffee shops in the greater Seattle area. Training I have a Masters in Social Work from the University of Washington. I have training in Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT- skills only).
