Grace Lee
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA)
I have experience and enjoy working with teens (16+) and young adults, folx who identify as Asian American or folx from an immigrant background.
My practice is rooted in social justice principles, acknowledging how different oppressive systems and “-isms” impact your mental health and wellness. I work from a client-centered and strength based framework and believe that you are the expert in your own journey. My role as a therapist is to walk alongside you in this journey and to provide you with tools in working towards your goals for our time together. I hope to build a collaborative, trusting and gentle space where you feel safe and free to be your most authentic self. My approach to clinical practice is eclectic, drawing from different modalities that sparks curiosity and connection while fitting your needs and how you process. Some modalities I draw from are Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Trauma Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I am a second generation Korean American and the oldest daughter of immigrants. My professional background includes working in schools, nonprofits, community organizing and in the child welfare system.
