Geoffrey Stagg is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he received his Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor of Art in Psychology, and minored in Religious Studies. He later completed his Master of Social Work at East Carolina University, specializing in their substance use certification program. Geoffrey has experience working with a diverse population of clients from various backgrounds and has worked in the State Psychiatric Hospital system, with Assertive Community Treatment Teams, substance use treatment groups, and in both inpatient and outpatient therapy settings. He has served as an internship supervisor to other students pursuing their Master’s degree in social work. Geoffrey’s area of expertise include Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, adjustment issues, LGBTQIA+, substance usage, men's issues, and working with individual's with severe and persistent mental health issues. Geoffrey grew up in the Raleigh area but has resided in multiple cities throughout North Carolina. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to music, binge watching TV shows, attending concerts, cheer on the Carolina Hurricanes, exploring the mountains, and spending time with his wife and their four cats and dog.
