Gao Vang

As a psychotherapist, Gao believes people come from all walks of life where challenges have created various experiences and perspectives, and sometimes support is needed to strive for increased resiliency. Gao is a bilingual (Hmong and English) clinician who draws from various evidenced-based interventions including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), CBT, DBT, mindfulness and psychoeducation to develop skills and insight. She has 7+ years in a range of treatment settings from intensive hospitals to current private practice. She appreciates working with a diverse group of clients consisting of individuals who are diagnosed with co-occurring disorders, including but not limited to numerous levels of trauma, chemical dependency, medical health conditions, and other psychiatric diagnoses. Gao uses an integrative and holistic approach that allows clients and communities to achieve healing and harmony.
